Canada
Tax and payroll software built for Canadian businesses
GST, HST, PST and QST calculated by province on every document, CPP/CPP2 and EI
deductions applied automatically on every pay run, and a real general ledger behind
it all — not a spreadsheet you rebuild at year end.
Tax by province, not by company
Tax is resolved from the province on the document — the customer’s shipping
address, not a single rate set for the whole company — so a business selling into
BC, Ontario and Alberta gets the right GST, HST or PST combination on every invoice
automatically.
CPP, CPP2 and EI, calculated per pay run
Payroll deductions are computed from current government rates and thresholds,
including the CPP2 additional contribution above the first earnings ceiling — not
a flat percentage someone has to remember to update.
Vacation pay and pay stubs
Vacation pay accrues automatically and prints as its own line on a clearly labeled
pay stub, alongside gross pay, deductions and net pay — the numbers an employee can
actually check.
A real general ledger, not a spreadsheet
Every sale, purchase and stock movement posts to a double-entry ledger
automatically — a trial balance, moving-average or FIFO inventory valuation, and
fiscal-period close, so books close cleanly every month.
Connect QuickBooks Online if you use it
If your accountant already works in QuickBooks, connect it and your customers,
products and invoices flow through instead of being keyed in twice. It is optional
— InvoToday's own ledger works without it.
Multi-currency, built in
Bill a US customer in USD or a domestic one in CAD on the same account, with
exchange rates applied at the document level so reporting stays accurate across
currencies.
